Fairway wood tee height.

Most fairway woods played off the tee want 1 inch ball-bottom.

The short answer

1 inch (25.4 mm) ball-bottom. Same height as our mini driver SKU.

Why

A 3-wood, 5-wood, or 7-wood teed up on a par 4 wants the ball roughly at the equator-of-crown height. Compress through the ball, ball-first contact, descending strike. 1 inch hits all three targets.

When to go lower

If you have a particularly small 3-wood (sub-180cc) or play a high-launching fairway, drop to ¾ inch. Otherwise use the 1-inch tee.
