SkyTrak sits beside the ball, not behind. Here is how to position the caddy and the tee.
SkyTrak placement
SkyTrak (original or Plus) is a photometric monitor placed 8 to 12 inches inside the ball, level with the ground. It needs a clean view of the ball at address.
Caddy placement
Trailing side, outside the stance, opposite the SkyTrak. The cord runs along the stance line, away from the device.
What to watch for
Make sure no part of the cord crosses in front of the SkyTrak. If the cord arcs visibly over the device on a hard strike, shorten the tether (try 22 inches instead of 28).
