Par 3 tee height.
On a Par 3 you are hitting an iron or a wedge off a tee. The tee height affects your strike pattern more than you think.
The general rule
Tee the ball just enough that you can sweep it cleanly off the surface. For mid-irons (5 through 8), that is the ¼-inch height. For wedges, almost flush with the surface (the ¼-inch SKU is already the lowest; for a near-flush lie just rest the ball lightly on the points).
Why not tee a Par 3 high?
You can. Some players tee irons up to 3/8 of an inch. But the steeper angle of attack of an iron benefits more from a low tee than a high one. Strike pattern stays more consistent.
