3-wood tee height.
A 3-wood off the deck wants a different lie than a 3-wood off a tee. Here is the difference.
Off the tee
A 3-wood teed up on a Par 4 wants the ball-bottom at 1 inch (the mini-driver height we ship). Equator of the ball sits at the crown.
Off the deck
A 3-wood off the deck (fairway second shot on a Par 5) wants no tee at all. The ball sits in the grass. Practice off the deck uses no Better Golf Tee.
Practice setup
If you practice both shots, use the mini-driver tee for the teed shot, then remove it and hit off the bare mat for the off-the-deck shot. That gives you both real-world contexts.
